Welcome to Purple Rain's blog. Purple Rain is not a fanatic Prince fan but a name that came from a hair-dye job gone wrong. A trip to Paris with the new purple hair led to some great adventures, one being on the metro and a band busking for money started to play Purple Rain. Whether they took the new hair do colour as inspiration for their next song one will never know, however, as one of the highlights of the trip, the name has always stuck in my memory.
