Aspirations?

So I've said what I don't want my magazine to look like but what do I want it to aspire to be like?

Although it will be a weekly magazine, the main focus is concentrating on how to make the layout and design not like a weekly magazine i.e. not cluttered, boring with too much information. Therefore, looking at glossier magazines such as i.D and Interview magazine have given me inspiration to the layout techniques that I would like to achieve.
